Art Barn trio: Works by three Utah artists - Erin Westenskow Berrett, Willamarie A. Huelskamp and Jim Rennert - go on display Friday at the Art Barn, 54 Finch Lane (1350 East), Salt Lake City.
Berrett's still lifes capture such everyday images as food, cocktails and household objects; she won a Best in Show award in June at the Utah Arts Festival.
Huelskamp paints images, in acrylic and collage, of people in her life. "The accuracy of what individuals look like is less important to me than painting how I feel about the people," she says.
Rennert's most recent work is a series of bronze sculptures focusing on the competitive nature of business.
The show opens with a free public reception Friday from 6 to 9 p.m.
